Cadence of Conflict: Asia, September 28, 2015

The unstated reason Chinese Pres. Xi snubbed Zuckerberg is probably for his age. Chinese think a man can’t do business until he’s at least in his 40’s and “is old enough to grow a mustache”. Whatever the reason, China having a Facebook page that Chinese can’t see, arriving in America with CEO’s fawning over him, it’s clear that China’s culture hasn’t changed and Xi is deeply entrenched in it. That should scare Americans because Chinese friendships can easily be used as fronts to get what they want, with unapologetic and total deception.

Zuckerberg’s Mandarin has terrible pronunciation. The crowd that applauds him is not giving a warm affirmation of quality and appreciation as an American audience would, but are “being polite”, giving the response they “should” when someone displays even the smallest attempt at their mother language. The more “happy” the crowd seems, actually, the worse his performance. If Zuck’s Mandarin was really good, the crowd would have been silent and wide-eyed.  · · · →

Encore of Revival: America, September 28, 2015

America got two visitors this week: The Pope on the East and Xi on the West. Vladimir appeared on CBS. Everyone comes in peace. Right.

Trump could become a fading fad. As good as it is to have proof that anti-political correctness works—as great as it is to have a Conservative-supported candidate in a spitting match with FNC—Howard Beal from “Network” was never going to last, nor was the “Terror” of France’s guillotines. Yes, Trump, the great deal maker, sits atop his tower, reading American sentiment, and regurgitates is right back at the public, perfectly and all. But he has used the same sentiment his entire career and been successful at it. Is he a fake? If he is then he’s a three decade fake who’s fooled his own kids. We’ll just have to see. Regardless, Carson’s substance could overtake Trump’s pomp. The future remains unforeseeable at this point because Carson is a rookie with beginner’s luck and Trump is thirty-year champ on a ten-year winning streak who’s stayed ahead in this entire game.  · · · →

Encore of Revival: America, August 17, 2015

Trump is the talk of town. Obama is getting donations to leave. Both have plans recently revealed: Trump to deal with immigration through never before seen competency; Obama to network with the wealthy for a $1 billion postpresidential infrastructure.

Foreigners living in America could lead to domestic unrest in more ways than one. Not only is illegal immigration a concern at the southern border, Chinese seem to be disappearing and Obama isn’t happy. Beijing got a warning this week and the White House wants suspicious Chinese to get out fast.

Hillary’s 60+ emails with classified redactions are raising more eyebrows. She shouldn’t be front and center for political potential talk anymore. Concerns should turn to China as well as the economy.

Money forecasters smell trouble, some from China’s slowdown, as well as from dipping commodity markets and international money such as Britain’s 77-month bull, Greece, and the overrated BRICS group (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa)—all indicating smoke on the horizon.  · · · →
