I Heard John Wimber Declare: “Come Again Holy Spirit!”

by  James W. Goll:

One of the most consistent ways the Lord speaks to me is through the avenue of dreams. Many of my writing and speaking assignments are given to me in such a manner. Prayer assignments over the years have almost always come in the forms of visitations and visions. This is especially true if it is a strategic assignment.

While ministering in Brazil in July 2012, I was seeking the Lord for His mind and thoughts concerning future movements of the Holy Spirit. I went to sleep in my hotel room in Belo Horizonte and woke up out of a “stunner of a dream”. The manifested presence of God was riveting on my body as an after effect of this dream encounter. It shook me.

I have yet to tell the full dream experience publicly, but I have been directed to present portions of it to you now. Perhaps I will be released at a later date and the proper setting to actually proclaim the message. For now, I am going to steer away from my craft of interpreting and just bring you the raw message.

I Saw Southern Californiaas a Womb for the Body of Christ!

Like an eagle in flight, I was hovering over the globe in search of a place to land. Suddenly the entire West Coast of the United Statescame before me. I was zoomed in upon the state of California and with the eye of an eagle I saw glimpses of redemptive purposes and plans. I then turned in flight over portions of Southern California and I saw something that seemed unusual. Southern Californiawas a womb for the Body of Christ. She had been used to conceive the Word and the Spirit over the last one hundred years of the Church and to bring forth different movements of God.

My “knower” was on high alert as I flew over Los Angeles and Orange County ? that this womb had already received another word implanted at least a year earlier and that another long-term, almost overdue, birth was imminent. I then soared over Pasadena and the next thing I knew, the eagle suddenly flew into the historic Mott Auditorium on the hallowed grounds of William Carey University.

I Saw John Wimber Standing on the Platform!

Suddenly on the wings of an eagle, I was taken into Mott Auditorium in Pasadena, California. The place was packed with worshiping Believers with standing room only. The atmosphere was electric with the presence of God. Rabid worship was happening with occasional authoritative declarations by various leaders. I noticed a few desperate pastors I knew crying out with anguish for God to visit them once again. Then things suddenly shifted.

All of a sudden, the late John Wimber, former leader of the Vineyard Movement and voice for the Third Wave, was firmly standing on the newly purple-carpeted platform. The cultural atmosphere was now pregnant with a realm of the glory and the thick majesty of God. Then I heard and felt the voice of John Wimber echo an invitation that rattled the entire place. He simply declared, “COME AGAIN HOLY SPIRIT!”

People started crashing to the floor en masse under the impact of the power and authority that resonated in those simple words. Once again another sound wave was released, “COME AGAIN HOLY SPIRIT.” It was not gentle Jesus showing up or the comforting dove of God manifesting. It was not just another renewal or revival meeting, though it seemed to include all of those qualities. It was the violent invasion of Heaven entering a time and space world. It was a Church quake.

I felt the reverberation coming off the sound waves of the voice of the invitation. It shook the very building, the grounds and all those present. The fear of the Lord fell and an earthquake of a 5.7 magnitude resulted. The quake resulted in an anointing resting on Psalm 57: “Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me. For my soul takes refuge in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge until destruction passes by. I will cry to God Most High, to God who accomplishes all things for me. He will send from Heaven and save me.”

People screamed in terror as the entire grounds and buildings were rattled by the sound of God’s voice being heard and felt once again. Signs and wonders broke out but it appeared as an aftereffect, not the primary goal. Then a third time I heard the pronouncement from John Wimber, “COME AGAIN HOLY SPIRIT!” People crashed onto the floor in droves.

As I pen this, I just now realized some things I had forgotten. They just flashed suddenly within me as I compose this. I also saw the late Jill Austin, one of the fieriest prophetesses of the last decade, gazing in upon the happening and smiling. I heard her laugh echo over the occurrence as to say, “I told you He was coming!” I saw a great cloud of witnesses including Aimee Semple McPherson and others gathering around to peer in upon this strange outbreak. The convergence of old anointings still seemingly resident upon Californiawas now colliding.

Suddenly I was Awakened!

My senses were heightened. It was July and I was ministering in Brazil - a land pregnant with revival - but suddenly it appeared to be another season and it was fall, right at the time of the Jewish New Year of Rosh Hashanah. Then pages of a book flipped quickly from one chapter of time to another and suddenly it was 40 days and nights later. I smelled smoke in Mott Auditorium as the place had been filled with the burning fiery sacrifices of violent praise and worship. I smelled burnt flesh. I smelled aromas of life and death simultaneously at work.

Short messages from different anointed vessels were a part of this new sound wave but again it was not the main thing. Miracles happened. They suddenly occurred. But again, this was not the aim. It was not why the people even assembled. Yes, there were even short passionate pleas and desperate cries for help! But even that was not the central focus. This move of God centered on the radical worship of the One ? Christ Jesus the Lord and the abandoned welcoming of the Third Person of the Godhead ? the Holy Spirit! The jealousy of God permeated the experience.

It was not a conference. It was not even polished. It was not even 24/7 as we presently know it. It was raw and overpowering. It was not rehearsed. It was an invasion of the Holy Spirit Himself.

A window of opportunity had opened and this uncontrollable surging sound wave jumped spontaneously around the globe. A man appeared on a pogo stick gleefully jumping from city to city and nation to nation. The man on the stick was William Seymour of the historic Azusa Street Revival. He leapt across the nations and everywhere his pogo stick landed, light came for a brief moment! The nations were in an uproar - and fire and light were falling around the globe.

Then I Heard One Last Word

“A Line Has Been Drawn in the Sand.”

Terror gripped me. I shook. I honestly did not know what was coming next. I still do not know having pondered deeply on this experience. Was it Days of Glory or impending societal chaos? Was it times of economic collapse or reformation where a new order was created out of tumultuous uncertainty? I honestly was left not knowing what the outcome or the result was or would be.

But this I knew: Hope for the fragmented Body of Christ and the nations was being released. An invitation was being sent from Heaven to earth and a line was being drawn in the sand.

The word went in me. The word penetrated me. The word has disturbed me. But this I know, Heaven has a word that must be heard in the earth realm, “COME AGAIN HOLY SPIRIT!” And the invitation must have an urgent and appropriate response.

With expectation!

Dr. James W. Goll

Editor’s Comment: This speaks of the west coast, which includes the Northwest. But more than that, John Wimber had great influence in the Northwest region. This word is for more than just the Northwest, but it is for the northwest as well.

Some Experiences with Judgment in the Courts of Heaven

Some years ago, Jesus took me to a new place that I hadn’t expected: it was a tall, oak, judge’s bench. He took me around the back of the bench, and up the stairs behind it. But rather than sit down himself, he sat me in the great chair behind the bench, and when I sat, I was wearing black robes and I had a wooden gavel in my right hand.
I’ve learned to trust him in that place, and so I didn’t resist him, though my sitting in that chair was more of a novelty that first time than it was about actually judging anything. Since then, I’ve begun to learn some things about judgment, how important it is, how powerful it is, and especially how very good it is.
I was charged with judging my brothers and sisters, but judging from Heaven’s perspective, from the perspective of a King who’s madly in love with them, who’s unreasonably proud of them, who’s amazed and overjoyed with their every step of faith. So the judgments that I’ve been invited to pronounce are about God’s favor on his children; I’ve been charged with finding them guilty of pleasing their Father, and sentencing them to be loved and adored for all their natural lives, and beyond! It’s better work than I first feared it would be; I’ve actually come to love that bench.
But some of the judicial work has been darker than that. Once, I was praying intensely for a dear sister against whom hell was having a measure of success. Jesus brought me around to the stairs and up to the bench. I could see more clearly from up there, and with his help, I saw the cloud of filthy spirits that were harassing my sister. “Judge them,” he said, and I understood.
I began to recognize their crimes, and as I identified them – the spirits and their crimes – I spoke its name. As I did, it was as if the gavel moved on its own, gently tapping, “Guilty!” to each charge. With each tap, a demon was bound and hauled of. Soon, I got into it, reaching into the Spirit for the discernment of each spirit and shouting its name, its crime: the gavel banged and the demon was bound. This, too, was judgment I could get excited about.
I needed to be careful, in my exuberance, to still judge accurately, according to what was true, not merely because I felt bad for my sister’s misery: this was a matter of justice, not pity, and it was a mighty justice that was handed down that day, and other days like it. I’ve developed the opinion that this judge’s bench is an excellent place for intercession.
There was one day, though, that I still shake my head about. It happened some years back, and I’m only now understanding what may have actually gone on.
God the Father somberly walked up to me, and he was looking really quite serious: he was cloaked in a rich black judge’s robe, and his eyes were as intense and alive with fire as I’ve ever seen them. With his eyes fixed on mine, he slowly opened his robe. I was surprised to see a red plaid shirt underneath, but before I had opportunity to react in surprise, he pulled a shotgun from the depths of his open robe, and handed it to me. Startled, I took it from him and glanced at it. Yep, that’s a shotgun, all right.
I looked up again, and now the robe was gone, and with it, the stern look from Father’s face. Instead, he sported a red hunter’s cap and a huge grin, and he held up a shotgun of his own. Movement caught my eye, and I saw Jesus, similarly attired with plaid shirt, red hat, grin and shotgun. Father asked, “You ready, Son?” but before I could answer, the air above our heads was suddenly filled with demons, their leathery wings flapping franticly as they zigged and zagged about the room.
Father laughed mightily, hoisted his shotgun and fired; a demon exploded into a black cloud. Jesus cheered and blasted another one. Soon all three of us were shouting and hollering and laughing uproariously. And blasting demons to tiny black dust. Shotgun blasts were interspersed with shouts of encouragement, great fits of laughter and the soft splatter of the demons shards. They had met their maker, and it had not gone well for them. He is a very good shot, actually.
I had enjoyed this experience so much that I hadn’t stopped to ask what it meant until recently; the answer wasn’t particularly surprising; something about “casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.” But the experience was, frankly, a great deal of fun. “Spiritual warfare” and “fun”: two concepts I never expected to put together.
That hunting party only happened the one time. I think it was more about teaching me a lesson than a regular part of our business in that place. He’s a good teacher, by the way: I’ve never forgotten that experience, though I’ve been slower to learn its lesson.

Why Does God Speak Cryptically

Anyone who has learned to hear Father’s voice has asked the question: Why does he sometimes speak in strange pictures and obscure messages? Why not just speak clearly?
One of the main reasons (in my observation at least) that Father speaks obscurely is because his goals are different from mine. If he spoke clearly, we’d grab that information and presumably do something with it. But neither the information nor the doing is his primary goal.
Father’s primary goal is relationship. And toward that goal, he speaks to us. Most of what he says to us is about us, or is our personal (and probably private) prayer assignment. Most of the tiny remainder of what he says to us is for our metron, our close circle of relationships: church congregation, home group, family, etc. Very little is to be shared, and so he speaks obscurely, in order that we won’t share private conversation too quickly.
And it is an error, in my opinion, to assume that God is speaking literally. He has been pretty clear about that (see 1Corinthians 13:12, Numbers 12:6-8). And so he speaks obscurely is because he’s more interested in you than he is in the information.
So I encourage you to go for walks with God: talk out loud. Tell him about your day, and how you feel about your day. Ask him about his day, and how he feels about his day, or about your day. Talk about your favorite music, your favorite flowers, and why they’re your favorites. Ask about his.
Avoid talking about prophetic stuff for a long while, either the process of prophesying, or the “prophetic words” he or others have spoken to you. This is about relationship, not the business of prophesying.
This is a favorite topic of mine: intimacy with Father on His terms. Anyway, lest I get overly long-winded, I leave you with these two thoughts. They both apply to the subject at hand, though the application is not overly obvious.
One more detail: it’s pretty clear that the times, they are a-changing. It’s my opinion that this kind of intimacy with Father will be more important, rather than less important, as the world gets more tumultuous and our lives get busier.

Preparing for an Uncertain Future.

I’ve been asked recently, “How should we prepare for the upcoming hard times in our nation?” The topic comes up a fair bit in one form or another.
I started to reply to the individual who asked this one, but there are several folks with questions on this topic. Here’s what I observe on the topic:
§         No single prophet will have all the insight on this (or any other) topic. Father promises to reveal his secrets to “the prophets” not “to each prophet.” I won’t have anything close to a complete picture. Having said that,
§         It’s not the prophet’s job [ever] to replace your hearing from God yourself. Take what you hear from the prophets to God to get your instructions for your own situation.

§         I believe that fear is the primary danger ahead of us: the enemy is making a pretty strong focus on this sin, trying to drive God’s. If believers resist that temptation, we’ll be positioned to get the rest of it right. (This means, of course, filtering what we listen to, and HOW we listen to it.)
§         It’s my opinion that the disaster prognostications flooding the media are fear-based, and are in error, if only because they’re based on fear.
§         While God is calling some of his children into the prepping community, “prepping” is not the answer. Luke 12:20-21 applies to those who, because of fear, store up all they’ll need to survive Armageddon: I don’t believe that’s actually possible; if we knew all that we needed to store up, that violates the First Commandment, and God has promised to not permit that. (Note: the “first commandment” is more of a threat than a commandment: “You will not be able to have any other gods before me: you set ‘em up & I’ll knock ‘em down!” [http://bit.ly/1nn65Rm])
§         I personally believe that the epic disasters of Matthew 24 and the Book of Revelation are clearly behind us, not in front of us (that is perhaps another conversation, and others believe differently). Nevertheless,
§         That does NOT mean I see blue skies and butterflies. Someone really smart said, “In this world, you will have tribulation.” I suspect that’s related to the fact that we are engaged in the greatest war this universe has ever known. It’s NOT “good vs evil.” It’s about the Kingdom of Heaven vs the lesser kingdoms (of which there are many: “good vs evil” is one; fear is another, and self-sufficiency is a third).
§         It is my opinion that the most critical things we can do are in John 2:5 (“Whatever He [Jesus] says to you, do it.”) and Hebrews 12:1&2 (“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”) Key: fix our eyes on Jesus. Having said that,
§         This does not mean “Don’t prepare.” It means look at what Jesus is doing and do what he says. He has had me make SOME preparations (we have gotten out of debt, and we grow some of our own food on our city lot, etc).
§         I’m reminded of stories like Matthew 17:24-27 (and we could choose many others!): It appears that Jesus is invested in provisioning us. Which leads to,
§         I believe we’re coming into a season where we rely on the supernatural for our daily lives. We need to (and are, in fact, beginning to) get used to miracles, so that we can multiply food or raise the dead comfortably and consistently.
§         Whatever troubles that come are an opportunity for the Kingdom of God, not obstacles. Even if there is real persecution against believers, upheaval of any sort open people’s hearts and minds to the King of the Kingdom. If we respond in fear we’ll miss the opportunity (see Romans 8:15).
§         Other people may be called to different responses. I am clearly called to a non-political response, but Father has specifically spoken to me about others whom He may be calling to be involved with politics, or even with forceful resistance to evil. Their calling is not my calling, but I need to not hinder them.
§         The story remains unchanging: God’s goal for us is still intimate relationship, his instruction is still to extend the kingdom, by means of the Great Commission.

So what do you hear God saying to YOU about this season ahead of us?

An Upgrade by way of a Dream

I had a dream. The next morning I told it to a friend, and as I told it, I realized that God was speaking to me.

In the dream, I had visited with my family, at my parents’ home. At the end of that visit, someone
across the way started shooting at us from the undergrowth. Because of the danger, everyone else left, and as he drove off, my dad told me that he had a weapon I could use. It was in the hall closet.

I ran to the closet, and searched under the bed linens. I remember checking the shelf from left to right; I found a tiny handgun, a pea-shooter, really. It didn’t even look like a gun; it looked like a tiny tambourine. It was obviously not going to be accurate at any distance beyond a yard or so, and wouldn’t pack much punch. It was a weapon, but not as powerful a weapon as I needed.

After a great deal of hard work and persistence, which were not part of the dream, I overcame the enemy.

Later, as the family was driving back up the driveway, I realized I stopped looking before exploring the whole closet. I dug into the linen closet again. On the same shelf, a bit farther to the right, I found another weapon: a large, semi-automatic pistol, probably a .45 caliber. Next to it was a package of extra ammunition wrapped to protect it from age. It had been there all along for me to use.

On reviewing the dream, I believe God was telling me that He has made another weapon available to me, beyond the weapon of worship that I’d been using, a new weapon that I hadn’t yet. It was a much larger & more powerful weapon. (And indeed, that was my experience.)

I suspect there’s a fair bit of this going on, God upgrading his kids’ weaponry, training our hands to war.

A Purpose for the Battle Against Us

War, it has been said, is hell. It gets tiring.
I find myself looking forward to the end of each battle. I don’t plan to, but I find myself considering “life without a battle raging around me” as a sign of success. Whew! I made it!
I don’t think Father agrees.
I believe that sometimes God specifically and intentionally brings the battle to me. I get it that I don’t always embrace the “overwhelming conqueror” moniker, and so he needs to help me get there. And yeah, I understand that sometimes I open a door that the enemy would love to exploit.
But I’m coming to believe that he brings the battle to me for another reason. I suspect that he lures the enemy into battle – and it must be with his sons, the enemy wouldn’t survive battle with God for even a nanosecond – as part of His almighty plan to plunder the devil.
In fact, I’m going to go so far as to say that sometimes the battle that I’m in right now, especially the battle that I didn’t expect to be in right now, is really more of an announcement, like the “Coming Attractions” features at the movie house. This is what you’re going to get for plunder after you’ve beaten this puny little stronghold.
We’ve talked about God’s promised wealth transfer. Proverbs 13:22b talks about how “the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.” I think we’ve misunderstood this.
I’ve heard this taught as a promise we just need to claim: “Receive it by faith,” they shouted (and it wasn’t always during the offering message!). I don’t think it’s as easy as that.
First, I’m not convinced that the “wealth” God is speaking of is merely financial, just as the inheritance we leave to our kids (13:32a) is merely financial (see also Hebrews 12:16).
I’m also aware that Father wants his kids to be overcomers (see Revelation 2 & 3). It’s tough to become a competent overcomer without practice overcoming stuff.
I’m beginning to suspect is combining these two values. He’s luring the devil into our gun-sights so that we can overcome him, and also so that we can take back what he’s taken from us. (Remember that the devil was broke when God threw him out of Heaven; anything he’s gained since then has been by deceit, trickery or outright theft.)
It’s pretty important, and in my own world, it’s increasingly difficult (probably some more of my training, as in Hebrews 12:7-11) to discern exactly what the battle is that we’re fighting. Yeah, stuff is going wrong. Yeah, my soul and my spirit are wrestling with an oppressing thing. Yeah, hope is difficult, or clear thought is a greater fight than usual. But WHAT IS THE REAL BATTLE?
As we discern the nature of the enemy who has been lured against us, we’ll see more clearly how to kick his buttocks up between his ears, but more importantly, we’ll also get a glimpse of the plunder, the wealth, that Father has planned for our inheritance.

Put your trust in the LORD your God and you will be established. Put your trust in His prophets and succeed.

This is before us today.

We all know that 20:20 speaks about vision. Also true for 2Chronicles 20:20, which includes this declaration: “Put your trust in the LORD your God and you will be established. Put your trust in His prophets and succeed.”

We will be established, we will stand our ground, when we trust what God has spoken to us, what he’s given & done! This is safe territory, and considering the context of the verse, that was a huge declaration! You’ll be OK.

But God is inviting us to receive a NEW word from him (“prophets” speaking of the prophetic community we’re part of), which will take us into a new realm of battle, and into a new realm of victory. You’ll take territory you’ve never had before, territory that you’ll never have to give up.

We can succeed, either playing defense or playing offense. But we score more victories when we take the offense.

God has been speaking to some of us in the Northwest about this, and he used the Superbowl to do it: I’ll summarize it this way: When the people that have spent their lives at defensive suddenly begin to play offense (even from their defensive positions), then the other guy is going to look really bad.

When we add offense to our defense (not a different place, in the midst of our defense), suddenly you accomplish things that nobody has ever accomplished before.

(We could add something about getting the people that have been sitting quietly on the sidelines for all these years involved, but that’s another topic.)

Interestingly, in the original context of our verse, this offense consisted of “Give thanks to the LORD, for his love endures forever.” When we get that down, that’s a big deal in the progress of the battle that we’re facing right now, the battle that looks to be the end of us and our line.

The result of this shift? The result of this declaration? “Jehoshaphat and his men went to carry off their plunder, and they found among them a great amount of equipment and clothing and also articles of value—more than they could take away. There was so much plunder that it took three days to collect it.”

If you’re going to listen to the NEW word from God, if you’re going to take the offense in the battle, then you probably ought to bring a wheelbarrow with you. Because you’re going to need it.

Good Treasure, or Evil?

“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” [Luke 6:45]

Reflecting on the repeated word “good.” (Principle: when the Book repeats something, it’s worth paying attention to!)

The word for “good” is ἀγαθός, and it “describes that which, being “good” in its character or constitution, is beneficial in its effect; it is used
(a) of things physical, e.g., a tree.
(b) in a moral sense, frequently of persons and things. God is essentially, absolutely and consummately “good. (Vine’s Dictionary of New Testament Words)

This tells me something that I don’t actually want to know: what I say (and presumably what I write about on FB) reveals my heart. If I’m talking about things that are beneficial in their effect, if I am pointing out that which is good about things, then this verse declares that I am a “good man” and I have “good treasure” in my heart.

But if what I say (and presumably what I write about on FB) is talking about things that are faults, or problems, or failures, or complaints or even just drivel, then this verse declares that I have “evil treasure” in my heart.

Certainly, I wish to apply this to myself: I can judge my own heart by watching what I say. Are my words revealing good or evil in my heart?

But I probably need to take this a step further as well: who am I reading, who am I following. If they’re speaking things that comfort me or challenge me or cause me to dig deeper into God, if they’re declaring what is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous or praiseworthy (see Philippians 4:8), then I can safely judge the fruit: this is “good treasure” coming from a good heart.

But if I’m listening to people or reports that are bringing fear, or outrage, or self-pity, or resentment, or entitlement, or powerlessness, or reports that are stirring worldly desires (“the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life,” 1 John 2:16), then I can – and must – judge that report as “evil treasure,” and recognize that it is coming from a motivation that has evil toward me in it, whether those speaking it mean for it to or not. (I’m not judging their heart; I’m judging their words.)

May I tell you a secret? That’s why I stopped watching the news. Father showed me this, and he called it my “devotional with the world.” I don’t hide from the news, but I get my news on my terms now, not on theirs.

I intend to judge fruit. I choose to be a fruit inspector. I choose to filter the fruit that others give me, to receive the good, and reject the evil.

What does this Incipient Outpouring That is Impacting the Northwest Look Like?

by Bob Brasset

Recently my friend, Don Pirozok, was with a middle- aged mother and grandmother. Both of these precious ladies have been praying, interceding and absolutely pouring themselves out... seeking a move of God for their region and Country.
My friend, Don, wrote, “When you see these women immediately you are drawn to the visible light shining from their faces-particularly the grandmother. The presence of God seems to accompany her wherever she goes. The grandmother recounted how kids from several neighborhood blocks are being supernaturally drawn to her home to be "saved," so far about 18 in all. This young grandmother has been in constant prayer often late into the night being led to intercede for the different houses, city blocks and neighborhoods in her area. She also mentioned people in stores are commenting on the unusual "peace" which they feel around her and are being drawn by the presence of God. At times cars have stopped in front of her home and people walking by her house just stop and stand not knowing why they are being drawn to her home. My friend, Don, says, “I am so impacted by what the Holy Spirit is doing in her life.”
MINISTRY IN THE STREETS

Another adventure began when Laurs came with the team to minister in the streets. As the team spread out into different areas of the downtown, Laurs asked the Lord, “Where do I go?” Jesus said to her, “Go where my people are”. So she was led close to where some homeless people were hanging and close to an empty bottle depot.
She came to a junction, the Lord said, “Turn left“. Then she saw a motionless person laying in the street and a lady standing beside him. The lady started waving at her. She cried, “I need a phone to call an ambulance!” And so they did. To assure that person they told him that an ambulance was on the way. The guy did not like the idea. He started to crawl across the road , then he hit his head on the pavement and received a few scratches. They prayed. Finally the ambulance came. The man left in the ambulance.
Fast forward a few days later. There’s the guy again in the streets. Laurs spotted him. He’s now open to the Gospel. He’s with another guy who is Islamic. He spoke in Urdu. My friend, Robert, who was also there understood the language. Robert and Laurs then went and bought them coffee, donuts and pizza. They were so happy and surprised! The Urdu guy gave his life to Jesus and the then 4 others did too. (He had been at first very opposed to the gospel.)
After this another person arrived on the scene, pointed to the first guy and said “he is demonized and needs exorcism “. Robert said, “That's not a problem. Jesus took lots of demons out of people”. He stretched his hand out and commanded the demon to come out in the name of Jesus. He, who was at first so hostile to gospel, calmed down and accepted Jesus as his Lord, saying, “How come I feel so peaceful. And what just left my body?”

AN IMPAIRED KNEE HEALED

A person's knee was water logged. He couldn’t t move it and it was swollen badly. He could only limp along in a very stiff fashion. When he saw and heard what was going on, he asked for healing. We said to him, “Do you know that you can have Jesus in your heart and all your sins wiped clean and you can renounce all other Gods?” He accepted Jesus as his Lord. We suggested that he ask Jesus himself for healing, Then Laurs and Robert put their hands on him and started to speak in tongues. Holy Spirit said, “Tell him to start moving his knee.” After he moved his knee 20 times he ran across the road, did some sit ups, did a dance - a jig for the group, and then got his medicine and threw it out” He said, “I don't need it anymore.” He is now planning on going back home soon to witness to his family and his home Village. (He has First Nations background.) Three other people were watching this and gave their hearts to the Lord Jesus too!

My friend said, “Then on Sunday i stood on that corner started to pray and presence of the Lord was there, I spoke out loud, “This corner belongs to Jesus , every demon go and may alcohol taste like poison and drugs be revolting)” Another Muslim person was listening he started to cry , he wanted prayer and made Jesus His Lord .

JUST TODAY

Just this PM my friend, Lance Hollet, and I were in Hillside mall. We came upon an East Indian couple. To make a longer story short. The man has severe arthritis in the knee. He was healed when Lance commanded the arthritis to go but, interestingly, he had to command it 3 times! The East-Indian man gave the healing a very thorough going over and a series of physical test and rejoiced, declaring, “There is no pain, swelling or impairment in any way” Then it was his wife’s turn. She had an incurable damaged muscle in her back; she also had a rib condition that gave her great pain and impeded her sleep greatly. These conditions were ongoing for either 20 years or 10 years, I forget which. Anyway, she too was healed and declared as much after giving her back muscle and rib cage thorough tests and exercises right there in the Mall.
Later, I was passing a dollar store. A lady employee stepped out into the sidewalk and began to reach up to wash a window. Immediately I heard her cry out, "Ow ow, that hurts, that hurts so much! Oh, that is so painful!" I was right beside her so I said, "What's wrong?" She cried out again, "It hurts so much! I have a torn rotator cuff and the Doctor says I must have surgery and I don't want to. It is so painful." I said, "Would it be OK if Jesus heals you right now?" She replied, "Yes definitely the sooner the better. I'm hurting." I said, "Thank you Jesus for this awesome woman. I command the tear in the rotator cuff to be normal and completely healed with no pain, in Jesus name!" Then I said, "Test it out!" You should have seen the expression on her face. It was priceless. As she moved her arm and then began to windmill faster and faster her face expressed surprise, exuberance and joy, like 'I can hardly believe this'. She twirled her arm violently in every direction again and again with a big grin on her face. I was then able to share with a very attentive and receptive woman the very Good News of Jesus!

The next day...yesterday, I deliberately went by the Dollar store to see how she was doing. She said, "I slept the whole night through without pain. It's a little sore today but I think that's because I overworked it in my enthusiasm."

Jesus is indeed wonderful and He continues to heal, save, and set-free people right out there in the marketplace.

AN OVERVIEW
Here’s what this incipient move of God, that has begun to touch the Pacific Northwest (Mostly British Columbia and Washington State) currently looks like:

It Is :
1) Outside the 4 Walls
2) Ordinary Christians and Pastors are being used and giving leadership
3) Not Commercialized
4) Quick Obedience
5) A Longing to See Souls Saved
6) Great Grace to Share the Gospel and to “Take it to the streets”
7) An Unusual Amount of Salvations
8) Prayer, Intercession, Crying out For the Lost
9) A Heart of Compassion
10) Signs and Wonders and regular Supernatural Occurrences----(without boasting or promoting the spectacular)

These are ten elements that seem to accompany those who are being led by God here in The Pacific Northwest. This move of God resembles the early Church in that it is out into the neighborhoods, the streets and the marketplace where life is lived every day. God is using ordinary men, women, and children who have surrendered to a "complete dependency on Jesus" and are being led by the Spirit of God. The highest value seems to be "pleasing God," by seeking and reaching the lost. These saints are "not motivated by money," instead are taking great time at personal cost to follow Jesus into what they expect is full-on revival and harvest.

These miracles of harvest are "not exploited" by commercialization. These healings and deliverances seem to be rather numerous and common. The desire not to offend the Holy Spirit by “attempting to own” the glory of miracles has created a childlike simplicity among the laborers. There is no "one man show" or the "man or woman of God" syndrome. Ordinary saints are walking in extraordinary dependence on the Holy Spirit. The gospel is shared in simplicity with what looks like "great grace". Continual prayer is manifesting day and night for this present move of God. The "Agape-love of God" is filling the harvesters so "fear of rejection and fear of man” is giving way to compassion and vision. This compassion brings a deep longing for the most hardened sinners to be healed and saved. Miracles are an everyday event as evidenced by the numbers of "divine appointments" and healings.

Jesus may this report motivate us to see the season is "harvest time" and a very real outpouring of the Holy Spirit is just outside our homes and “right next door.”
